How to painlessly remove wen under the eye

The appearance of a tumor formation from the subcutaneous fat layer is called a lipoma, or wen. The neoplasm is considered benign and represents a membrane with a sebaceous filling. They occur in large numbers on the surface areas of the body. The appearance of lipoma is possible in any person, regardless of gender or age.

Wen affecting the face manifests itself as a single or multiple neoplasm. Frequent location: under or above the eye, upper and lower eyelids, inside the eye on the white membrane, in the corner of the eyes. Shows seals that are white or yellowish in color. Refers to a cosmetic defect.

What is it and how does it arise

A fat bag differs from a pimple:

  • appears to be a soft compaction;
  • the neoplasm is mobile, easily moves under the skin;
  • inflammatory processes and suppuration do not occur in the node;
  • there is no sensation of itching, pain or burning.

Pain occurs when the fatty node near the eyes enlarges and puts pressure on the nerve receptors. Sometimes it does not develop for a long time and may decrease in volume, eliminating itself. Most often observed on the upper eyelid.

The initial development of lipoma is characterized by a size of a couple of millimeters. With further growth, the volume exceeds 1 cm. Formation can be single or group. The growth of a number of nodes is called lipomatosis.

Experts have not identified the causes of the wen. Common factors are:

  • Anomalies during internal maturation of the embryo. If a pregnant woman has had an infectious disease, abnormal fat cells are formed that tend to accumulate and become denser.
  • Metabolism problems.
  • Hormonal imbalances in the body. Possible during pregnancy, adolescence, endocrine diseases.
  • Diabetes mellitus and kidney disorders.
  • Genetic predisposition.
  • Hyperkeratosis - when the process of exfoliation of the skin is slow, and the growth of new cells increases.

The appearance of a tumor on the eyeball is observed in older people. The formations are not lipomas; they are called pinguecula. Fatty growths on the protein part do not occur due to the absence of a layer of fat. Development is promoted by ultraviolet irradiation and damage to the mucous membrane of the eye. Both eyes are affected and there is tearing, redness and dryness.

Causes of wen around the eyes

According to medical terminology, fat is a compaction that is formed due to the growth of adipose tissue. This formation is exclusively benign in nature, and therefore does not pose any danger to humans. Inside the wen there is subcutaneous fat, which, unlike a pimple, does not have an entrance to the surface of the skin.

What can provoke the formation of white wen near the eyes? It is in this place that the concentration of free fat that is present in the body most often occurs. It is worth noting that this risk exists in overweight and thin people. It’s just that some people develop wen, while others don’t.

The development of pathology can be influenced by diabetes mellitus, diseases of the thyroid gland, adrenal glands, and kidneys . Hereditary factors and genetic predisposition can also affect the formation of lipoma. One should not exclude improper nutrition, as a result of which toxic components constantly accumulate in the body and settle inside. This happens due to an unbalanced diet, overeating, and eating the wrong foods. Therefore, people who have wen should think about this issue and start adjusting their diet.

Varieties

The presence of a wen on the eye or eyelid causes discomfort; they try to remove the tumor as soon as possible. The method of therapy is used depending on the type, health status, and appearance of the patient’s skin:

  • Xanthelasma - a wen forms on the eyelids, white, rarely yellowish. It has a flat appearance, with bubbles and irregularities along the edges. It forms on the epidermis on the inner side of the corner of the eye and grows on the sensitive layer of the skin. Most often, a single formation is observed, but the formation of a wen is possible in various parts of the body. Its appearance indicates disturbances in the activity of fat metabolism.
  • Milia are multiple white small growths covering the dermis of the face. Observed below the eyes, on the skin of the eyelids.

Formation occurs on the upper part of the skin, where keratin is located. Lipomas are small, do not exceed more than two mm, compacted, with precise boundaries. The inner layer consists of clusters of cells of a layered appearance.

  • Natural lipoma - in appearance it is characterized by a protruding part above the skin of gray or pale yellow color. The formation is moving, not fixed, and moves when palpated.
  • A dermoid cyst has a characteristic round appearance and a yellow tint. It is formed by a single or double capsule shell filled with fat cells. It poses a danger to eye health; the lens may become clouded, and the clarity and range of vision may decrease.
  • Sometimes warty formations appear on the face around the eyes - this is a type of papillomas. The formations are considered benign, characterized by a thread-like form, and are invisible for some time during development. They appear as fuzzy balls, contribute to changes in the skin, sizes do not exceed 1 cm.

What is a wen

Doctors call this formation under the skin a lipoma. This is not a pimple, but a benign tumor consisting of a capsule filled with yellowish fat. Lipomas on the eye are characterized by the following features:

  • consistency soft to the touch;
  • mobility of the tumor, which, like a ball, easily rolls under the skin;
  • the wen does not become inflamed and does not suppurate;
  • does not cause burning, pain, itching.

If the wen near the eye grows strongly and compresses the nerve receptors, painful sensations appear. Sometimes a lipoma does not increase over many years, and sometimes it decreases and disappears on its own. More often, the location of the wen on the eye is the upper eyelid, less often - the lower.

At first, the lipoma is very small, like a convex dot. As the tumor grows, it can turn into a lump, reaching a size of several centimeters. Most people develop single lumps on the eye, but formations can also grow in groups. In this case, doctors diagnose multiple lipomatosis.

In some sources, lipoma is synonymously called atheroma. Although they are very similar in appearance, this is not true. Atheroma is also an accumulation of fats, but does not arise due to tissue growth, but due to blockage of the sebaceous glands. In addition, this is a different type of tumor - a cyst. Atheromas can become inflamed.

During puberty, adolescents often develop dense white wen - milia - around the eyes. The appearance of such neoplasms is caused by cell proliferation due to blockage of actively functioning sebaceous glands. In addition, milia under the eyes may indicate dry skin, inept use of cosmetics, and disorders in the digestive tract.

Wen on the eye is a safe phenomenon. Cases of lipomas degenerating into cancerous tumors are extremely rare. However, it is necessary to eliminate the slightest risk, so it is better to get rid of such tumors immediately. In a child, a wen that impedes the growth of young tissues can be eliminated from the age of 5.

Diagnostics and elimination

The appearance of lipomas on the lower and upper eyelids and in the eye corners requires complex therapeutic methods. To eliminate problems, you need to contact a diagnostic examination by specialists. Sometimes you need to consult an endocrinologist if neoplasms appear due to hormonal imbalances or in the presence of endocrine diseases.

Fatty tumors in the eyes cannot be removed on your own. The epidermis around the eyelids and eyes is thin and sensitive; when trying to remove lipomas by squeezing, scars remain that can only be removed with plastic surgery. If the tumor is large, self-removal will lead to inflammation and large size, which is difficult to cure quickly. Removal of a lipoma from a child is carried out when he reaches the age of five. Early intervention is possible only under emergency indications. The removed node is sent for histology.

It is necessary to get rid of the tumor in the following cases:

  • active growth of the wen over several months;
  • presence of pain syndrome;
  • a knot has formed on the eyelash edge or inside the eyelid, which does not allow the eyes to close;
  • lipoma touches the eyeball;
  • visibility is reduced due to the presence of a tumor;
  • education is considered a cosmetic flaw.
  • Before removing the wen, the mucous membrane is examined and histological tests are taken to exclude the malignancy of the neoplasm. If the tumor is large, an examination is carried out using ultrasound waves.

    A number of methods are used to remove fat deposits.

    Treatment with medications

    To exclude surgical operations, they begin to treat using injections with medicine injected into the cavity of the node. The drug has an anti-inflammatory effect. Drug therapy has its advantages: injury is minimal, no scars or cicatrices appear, a lower threshold of sensitivity, and no recovery time is required. If the tumor is large or there are several of them, a single injection is not enough and must be repeated. This method promotes a smooth decrease in density and its complete elimination.

    Medication treatment at home

    How to remove wen under the eyes without surgery? If you do not want to seek medical help, you can treat lipoma as follows:

    1. Vishnevsky ointment. The product is applied to a cotton pad or gauze, applied to the seal, and secured with an adhesive plaster. It is recommended to change the compress once a day. With regular use, the ointment will soften the fat capsule and may facilitate the release of the substance to the surface.
    2. Ichthyol ointment. This remedy is used according to the above scheme. The drug is considered stronger, so a positive result can be expected after just a few uses.

    It is important to understand that medicinal ointments will have an effect only in cases where the wen is small in size . Large formations are removed surgically or using traditional medicine.

    Application of traditional methods

    Wen on the eyelid is considered a common phenomenon. Some patients try to get rid of lipoma. They try:

    • pierce or squeeze out,
    • do cauterization using iodine or brilliant green;
    • apply herbal compresses and wipes.

    A benign nodule of small volume is eliminated using traditional folk methods. They are aimed at improving blood circulation around the tumor and if the lipoma is small:

    • An effective method is the use of celandine juice. It is used to remove growth in areas where hair does not grow. Not suitable for therapy around the eyes. The plant is poisonous and the juice helps the formation of skin ulcers. Through the affected areas, you can remove the fat content by using a compress with aloe, Vishnevsky ointment or plantain leaves.
    • Garlic helps speed up blood flow. The plant has an irritant effect and, when applied to the skin, stimulates blood flow to the tissues. The garlic clove is turned into a homogeneous mass, a couple of drops of sunflower or flax oil are added to it. The drug prepared in this way is rubbed daily at the site of the tumor.
    • Hellebore root tincture helps cleanse the body and independently absorb fatty deposits. The dried plant is turned into powder, boiling water is added and infused. The strained infusion is drunk every day. The therapy is long, for the result to be noticeable, you need to take the medicine for about a year.

    It is advisable to get rid of wen at home using traditional medicine only after consulting a doctor! Self-treatment will lead to a worsening of the condition of the node and contribute to its development into a malignant tumor.

    To prevent lumps from bothering you in the future, you should get rid of bad habits, avoid overcooling, eat well, and consult a doctor promptly as soon as neoplasms appear.

      6 minutes to read

    Wen (lipomas) are benign lumps on the skin that develop from adipose tissue. Such neoplasms are concentrated on various parts of the body and face. Lipomas can form on the upper or lower eyelid, as a result of which this causes significant discomfort to a person. To know how to cure or remove such a growth, it is necessary to establish what this phenomenon is and why it manifests itself.

    How can you get rid of wen near the eyes?

    Eyes are important and very sensitive organs of vision, therefore, before starting treatment for wen near the eyes, consultation with a specialist is necessary. Only after finding out the true cause of the formation of a wen (or a group of lipomas) and coordinating your actions with a doctor, can you choose a treatment method that is acceptable to you.

    Under no circumstances should lipomas be squeezed out or pierced with a needle! This is fraught with serious consequences. There is no need to self-medicate - use medications at your own discretion or on the advice of a friend/relative who does not have a medical education.

    Before the doctor advises you on any of the lipoma treatment methods, he will certainly examine the formation and prescribe a blood test (general and biochemical). In addition, a study of hormonal levels and an ultrasound of internal organs may be necessary.

    If the wen is small in size and does not cause any particular aesthetic or physical discomfort to the patient, then doctors generally recommend not touching it. For large lipomas, surgical excision is recommended (this operation is considered a fairly simple procedure that will not even leave traces if performed by a qualified and experienced doctor). If you set out to get rid of this formation in any case, then this can be done by several methods that are used either in a medical institution with the help of a specialist, or at home, but under the supervision of the attending physician - with drugs prescribed by him or folk remedies agreed with him medicine.

    Medications

    Small lesions can be removed without surgery. For this purpose, medications are used that can be bought at any pharmacy - Ichthyol ointment or Vishnevsky ointment. Both remedies are used in the same way, you just need to keep in mind that the first is much stronger than the second, and such treatment will require several days. A small amount of ointment is applied to a piece of cotton wool, applied to the lipoma, covered with a piece of bandage or gauze and secured with a band-aid. After 8-12 hours, the compress can be changed. The procedure is repeated until the fat capsule softens and its contents come out.

    It is not recommended to treat medium-sized or large-sized formations in this way, since when opened, subcutaneous fat, coming to the surface, can leave a fairly noticeable mark on the skin, which will be difficult to disguise even with the highest quality cosmetics. Therefore, medium-sized lipomas are removed by puncture and injection of a special drug under the skin, which promotes the resorption of the formation. The procedure is quite simple, painless and does not require a rehabilitation period. The only disadvantage of this method is that in 20% of cases the tumor appears again.

    Conservative methods

    Conservative methods of treating lipoma are resorted to if the formation has reached such a size that it already prevents the patient from seeing normally (for example, a wen hanging over the eye), or its size “squeezes” the nerve.

    Conservative methods include:

    • Puncture of the wen with a needle.
    • Puncture - using a needle, subcutaneous fat is pumped out.
    • Removal of the fat capsule is performed through a small incision in the skin.
    • Electrocoagulation is the cauterization of a lipoma using a special device that sends electrical impulses.
    • Laser removal of wen. This method is considered the most effective and safe today.

    All types of operations are performed without any special preliminary preparation, under local anesthesia. The procedure takes little time, and therefore is carried out without hospitalization, but it will take time for the wound to heal. During the rehabilitation period, the patient must wear a sterile bandage and regularly (for monitoring) visit the attending physician. As a rule, after the wound heals, no scars or scars remain. But, in addition, conservative treatment methods ensure that the wen will not appear in the same place again.

    What is a wen on the eyelid?

    The formation of lipomas on the skin is a widespread phenomenon. Everyone is capable of encountering such a pathology. In particular, their formation on the face, near the eyes, will be unpleasant. Wen lesions most often occur in females aged 30 to 50 years, but they are often observed in men.

    In appearance, these are white or yellow neoplasms with defined contours, inside of which there is a movable capsule. Lipomas on the eyelid are not an infectious disease, but it is better to remove them so that they do not create discomfort and do not provoke the formation of psychological complexes.

    Often, the provoking factor for a wen near the eye is a blockage of the sebaceous gland. In some cases, lipomas may have a yellow tint. At the same time, they do not cause pain and are more likely to cause cosmetic inconvenience.

    Methods for removing wen on the face

    Everything is clear about the process of wen formation. But what to do next? There is only one answer from official medicine - remove it!

    If a lipoma has just appeared on the face, then its detection is extremely difficult. When palpating the wen, there is usually no pain, but if you feel any discomfort, you should urgently get rid of them.

    Lipomas around the eyes look like yellow or white growths with a movable capsule inside. They can be on the face, in the infraorbital area, located both on the upper and lower eyelids.

    The main reason for their appearance should be considered blockage of the sebaceous gland. The wen will not cause any particular discomfort, especially if it is small in size. However, if the lipoma is not small, it can affect the nerves in the skin of the eye.

    This is when you should think about removing lipomas. Under no circumstances should you try to get rid of the wen yourself by squeezing it out with your hands, because the risk of infection is quite high. Cases of persistence of a scar or a scar at the site of the wen, or the rapid growth of neoplasms, cannot be excluded. And since the lipoma is located near the eyes, there may be more serious negative consequences.

    Causes

    The causes of lipomas on the eyelids have not been fully established; they appear suddenly and tend to gradually increase in size. The main factors in the formation of growths include improper metabolism.

    It is a known fact that lipomas can be inherited. When parents have similar growths, there is a possibility that they will also appear in their children.

    In such a situation, the neoplasm will appear at a fairly young age. The growths tend to develop slowly and often go undetected for a long time.

    Traditional methods of treating wen under the eyes

    Homemade folk medicines are often more effective than expensive medications. Let's look at a few simple recipes that our grandmothers used.

    Compress with vegetable oil

    • Cauterization with iodine. To do this you will need a 5% iodine solution. This remedy is probably in your first aid kit. Dip a cotton swab in iodine and gently apply the wen under the eye. Make sure that the medicine does not come into contact with the mucous membranes of the eyes. Instead of iodine, boric or salicylic alcohol can be used to dry the seal. When the product is absorbed, apply nourishing cream to the skin.
    • Medicinal compresses with vegetable oil. The product needs to be slightly warmed, mixed with a small amount of salt. Apply the warm oil mixture to the wen. After 10-15 minutes, a thin crust appears on the skin, which falls off, pulling out the fat capsule with it.
    • Chicken egg medicine. To prepare such a medicine, you need to pierce the shell at the top and bottom so that all the contents flow out. We take out the inner film from the shell and apply it to the lipoma. You need to wait until the substance dries completely. The procedure must be repeated until the skin defect completely disappears.
    • Prepare a paste from fresh coltsfoot leaves. Make a compress out of it and secure it with a bactericidal plaster. It is best to perform this procedure in the evening before bed and remove it in the morning. After just 2 weeks of this treatment, the lipoma will completely disappear.
    • Combine 1 tbsp. flax seeds and 3 tbsp. milk. Simmer the mixture in a steam bath until it thickens, stirring occasionally. When the medicine has cooled, apply it to a piece of gauze and apply it to the wen. Do not remove the compress for 6-8 hours. Repeat the procedure if necessary.

    If a wen has formed under the eye, it is better not to use folk remedies that contain garlic or celandine juice. This can cause severe irritation and inflammation of sensitive skin, as well as the mucous membrane of the eye.

    Symptoms

    Neoplasms near the eyelids do not cause pain and do not cause the patient any difficulties, in addition to psychological worries regarding appearance.

    It is possible to detect a wen by the following signs:

    • The growth is characterized by mobility and soft consistency.
    • There is no painful sensation during pressing.
    • The neoplasm can stop or accelerate in development. It is characterized by extreme mobility, but it is not recommended to touch it constantly.

    Regular touching and pressing can cause destruction of the capsule where the adipose tissue is located, which will harm the general condition. Also, such an action can provoke a massaging effect and increase blood flow, which causes accelerated development of the wen.

    A cluster of lipomas that are located close to each other is called lipomatosis. When it is associated with painful sensations – painful lipomatosis.

    Diagnostics

    In some cases, lipomas disguise extremely dangerous diseases, including malignant neoplasms. Diagnosis of a wen is simple. Often an external examination is enough for a specialist to make an accurate diagnosis.

    • Visual inspection. Lipoma on the eyelid is usually small (3-7 mm in diameter). The growth is milky or yellow in color, round in shape, often irregular.
    • Probing. The fat has characteristic mobility. In the process of pressing on it, it easily moves under the skin. There is no pain at this time.
    • Clinical diagnosis. It is carried out infrequently. Includes a study of the amount of hormones in the body, a general blood test and its biochemical composition.
    • Cytology. A fragment of adipose tissue that is removed from the tumor is sent for diagnostics in order to exclude a malignant tumor.

    Detecting a wen on the eyelid does not cause difficulties for the doctor.

    Getting rid of wen in the clinic

    Despite the fact that in most people, wen go away on their own, there is still a danger of complications, and besides, the appearance of these formations is rather unaesthetic. Therefore, the question arises of how to get rid of wen under the eyes. To solve this problem, you should visit a doctor or cosmetologist. After examination and examination, the necessary treatment will be prescribed. Medical science offers many options:

    1. Medication. For this purpose, special capsules with a solution are used. This method is quite safe, but takes a long time (up to 3 months).
    2. Laser. It is the most modern method that allows you to remove a tumor with minimal side effects, without scar formation. Such removal is practically painless, and the rehabilitation period is about a week.
    3. Surgical. It is used when the wen under the eyes grows and the use of other methods will not bring results. In this case, complete excision of the tumor is performed, but scarring changes in the skin may remain.

    Treatment

    Lipoma therapy should be carried out under the supervision of a specialist. In some cases, patients try to get rid of such a tumor themselves and pierce it, and then squeeze it out.

    Wen is a benign neoplasm. There is no risk of degeneration into a malignant tumor.

    Some types of neoplasms have a tendency to grow and become inflamed.

    Timely treatment of a wen on the eyelid will help avoid suppuration and other dangerous complications.

    Causes

    Experts do not indicate the exact cause of the appearance of wen on the eyelids. There are a number of factors that contribute to the development of such seals. These include:

    • obesity;
    • hormonal imbalance;
    • endocrine abnormalities;
    • sedentary lifestyle;
    • pathologies of the genitourinary system;
    • excessive consumption of fatty foods.

    In part, wen can be considered a hereditary problem. If the parents have lipomas, then most likely the child will have them too.

    You can visually examine the wen on the lower and upper eyelids in the photo below:

    How to get rid

    There is no one specific therapeutic course for eliminating wen. Treatment can be carried out by a cosmetologist or surgeon if the formation is large.

    Drug treatment

    In most cases, drug therapy is prescribed to eliminate wen on the eyelids. It involves the use of antiseptic and anti-inflammatory drugs.

    Benefits of drug therapy:

    • minimal trauma;
    • no need for rehabilitation after therapy;
    • painlessness;
    • absence of scars and cicatrices.

    How dangerous is this?

    In general, most experts consider wen to be a safe phenomenon. But sometimes the question of how to remove a wen under the eye ceases to be idle. In some cases, this formation greatly affects visual acuity and can limit vision and block the tear ducts. In addition, when a capsule forms around a lipoma, the likelihood of its malignancy increases.

    Most women want to remove a wen on the eye, as it causes psychological discomfort due to deterioration in appearance.

    When a wen grows, a person’s eyelid may close or turn out . Therefore, in any case, if a lipoma appears, you should contact a specialist in order to receive quality treatment.

    How to delete

    If the lipoma is large or multiple, the doctor may prescribe removal of the tumor.

    Other indications for this procedure include the following clinical situations:

    • rapid increase in the size of the formation by 2-3 times;
    • the appearance of pain;
    • development of the inflammatory process;
    • serious cosmetic discomfort;
    • negative impact on the organs of vision.

    Before removal, the patient must be examined not only by the surgeon, but also by an ophthalmologist. For this purpose the following studies are prescribed:

    • general blood analysis;
    • blood chemistry;
    • checking blood for clotting;
    • determination of hormonal status.

    Only if the indicators are normal, the patient is sent to the surgical hospital, where surgery will be performed. There are the following methods for removing formation:

    • surgical;
    • use of laser;
    • liposuction;
    • electrocoagulation;
    • cryodestruction;
    • electro wave effect.

    The surgical removal method involves the use of a scalpel. After such an intervention, the wound takes quite a long time to heal and requires some postoperative care. There is a risk of eye damage and inflammation of the suture.

    Laser removal is considered one of the most effective and safest methods.

    The advantage of this manipulation is the absence of a rehabilitation period. This is a bloodless and accurate way to eliminate wen on the eyelid.

    Liposuction involves removing fluid from the tumor. A special tube is used for this. Electrocoagulation and cryodestruction involves eliminating the lipoma in one session. In the first case, the neoplasm is cauterized using high-frequency currents, and in the second case, liquid nitrogen vapor is used. The wound after the intervention disappears 7-10 days after the manipulation. There is a risk of developing a pigment spot.

    Radio wave surgery - exposure using a radio knife. After such an intervention there are no scars and no risk of relapse.

    It is important that during the operation the tumor is completely removed: along with the pulp and membrane. The procedure for eliminating lipomas on the upper and lower eyelids is slightly different.

    On the upper eyelid, the skin is more delicate, so formations form there more often. On the lower eyelid, a wen is often confused with a cold stye.

    Before carrying out treatment, the doctor must make sure that there are no contraindications.

    How to remove wen under the eyes using conservative methods?

    You can remove wen under the eye yourself. However, this treatment takes quite a long time. Squeezing out a lipoma and piercing it with a needle without special medical education and sterile conditions is prohibited. This can lead to infection and inflammation of the wound. Subsequently, it will be much more difficult to cure such a damaged wen.

    Removing fatty tissue from the face

    If you want to quickly remove fat under the eyes, contact a professional clinic. Modern doctors use the following methods to treat lipoma:

    • Puncture the wen with a thin needle. The skin area is pre-treated with an antiseptic.
    • Puncture. A needle is inserted into the fat pad and the subcutaneous fat is pumped out through it.
    • Surgery. The doctor makes a small incision in the skin with a sharp scalpel and then completely removes the fat capsule.
    • Electrocoagulation. Using special equipment, electrical impulses are sent to the lipoma. The seal is cauterized and completely disappears.
    • Wen removal with laser. Modern safe and painless procedure.

    Conservative methods of removing wen under the eyes are carried out under local anesthesia. No preliminary preparation or hospitalization of the patient is required. The procedure does not take much time at all.

    Which doctor should I contact?

    To eliminate a wen on the eyelid, you will need to consult several specialists: an ophthalmologist, a dermatologist, a surgeon and an endocrinologist.

    If the tumor is small and does not cause discomfort, then it can be removed at an aesthetic medicine center or a dermatovenerological dispensary.

    This procedure is also carried out in cosmetic clinics and ophthalmology centers. With extensive damage, additional diagnostics are required. Full surgical intervention is carried out only in a surgical hospital.

    Wen on the eyelids is not only an aesthetic problem. They may increase in size and become inflamed. If the formation is small, drug therapy will be sufficient to eliminate it. Removal of a large lipoma is carried out using one of the surgical methods.

    Traditional methods of fighting wen

    People deal with wen around the eyes as follows:

    • A solution of boric or salicylic acid, iodine or alcohol tincture of calendula. Choose one of the products for yourself and treat the wen with it daily. But don't get it in your eyes.
    • Milk and flaxseed oil. Take the components in a ratio of 3 to 1 and mix them. Place on the stove and wait for the mixture to thicken. Place the resulting mass on gauze and apply to the lipoma.
    • Onions and soap. Bake the onion, chop it to a paste. Grate laundry soap and mix with onions. Place on gauze and apply a compress to the problem area.
    • Agave or Kalanchoe juice. This is a less effective remedy, but it is good because it does not cause eye irritation if it accidentally comes into contact with mucous membranes. Finely chop the leaves of Kalanchoe or agave, fold into cheesecloth and squeeze out the juice. Make compresses with it three times a day for 2 weeks for 3 hours.
    • Anti-inflammatory ointments (Vishnevsky, ichthyol). Apply daily to the lumps until they resolve or open.
    • Wheat porridge. This method of dealing with wen is great for children. Prepare porridge from wheat grains and add oil to it. Make porridge compresses daily for 15 minutes three times a day. In a few days the lipoma will open.

    Wen on the eyes is usually harmless and, apart from a cosmetic defect, does not cause any problems. Traditional medicine methods can be much more harmful: if you accidentally get alcohol tinctures or acids on the mucous membrane of the eye for several days, you can get vision problems. Therefore, it is better to consult a doctor. He will either approve traditional methods of combating lipoma, or, if he considers them dangerous, he will offer other methods of treatment.
