Lemon also has an immunostimulating quality; its juice helps remove harmful toxins, making the skin healthier and looking much better. These citrus fruits are often used in the treatment of acne and as a preventive remedy.

Indications and rules of use

Lemon juice successfully fights acne, blackheads and blackheads. It is often used to reduce sebum secretion in case of increased fat content of the epidermis and to narrow pores. Lemon is used for acne spots; it can also be used to treat skin with the initial symptoms of aging. After this citrus, the skin of the face becomes fresh, tightened and matte.

Lemon is also used for acne spots.

Lemon juice for acne can be used in its pure form or diluted with a small amount of water.

Before applying it to your face, you need to wash your face with your usual cleanser. To enhance the effect of citrus, you need to open the pores as much as possible; to do this, you can wet a towel or napkin in hot water, apply it to your face and wait until it cools completely.

After this, lemon juice is carefully applied to the face, but without affecting the delicate skin around the eyes. You can prepare the juice or wipe the skin with a cut slice.

A special lotion is also suitable for blackheads on the face, which is easy to prepare yourself; all you need to do is add a spoonful of lemon juice to a glass of water. This lotion can be used up to 2 times a day; it perfectly tightens pores and removes oily shine.

If you add 1 tsp to such a lotion. baking soda, it will perfectly dry out pimples on the face and reduce the inflammatory process. Lemon essential oil for the face is also very useful; just add just 5 drops to your favorite cream, lotion or toner.

Lemon is great for whitening skin

Lemon is very effective against post-acne, it whitens perfectly and will be indispensable in the fight against age spots that often remain after acne. A cotton swab is soaked in lemon juice and applied to the stains; if a burning or slight tingling sensation is felt, the juice can be slightly diluted with water.

It is advisable to combine external treatment of pimples with eating lemon. At the same time, the body will be cleansed of many toxins, digestion will be normalized, the body’s defenses will be strengthened and, accordingly, the condition and color of the facial skin will improve, pimples and inflammation will gradually disappear.

It is best to drink a glass of clean water in the morning, with the addition of 1 tsp. citrus juice. And adding a spoonful of any honey to this drink will enhance the healing properties of citrus. And for dry skin, castor, olive or linseed oil is more suitable. It is enough to mix 2-3 drops of each type and apply this mixture to the face for only 20 minutes, then wash with warm water.

Lemon for acne, properties for the face

But this is all lyricism, our task is to figure out how lemon will help in the fight against acne. In my opinion, there are two points to consider. You can apply lemon to your face, or you can take it internally.

I tried applying it to my face, but didn’t notice the desired effect. What lemon did well with was acne spots (more details below, in my review), but the acne itself will not go away from lemon.

Why is this happening? After all, it would seem that lemon is a strong acidic environment, and in such an environment everything should die mercilessly. The reason is that the bacteria located in the pore, which is why the pimple appeared, are too deep and lemon juice cannot easily reach them.

When acid comes into contact with the skin, it begins to exert its properties precisely on the surface of the epidermis and cannot penetrate the clogged pore.

The conclusion here is simple, a pimple has appeared, there is no need to engage in useless treatment, but use already proven means that kill bacteria deep inside. I have already written about such medicines, and I gave examples of very cheap medicines; personally, I am not a fan of overpaying :)

So why do you need lemon then, you ask? And this is where the fun begins. I already mentioned at the beginning that lemon copes very well with acne stains, so we will build on this.

Lemon mask for acne spots

You can use the juice separately, mix it a little with water and apply it directly to problem areas, but I don’t like this method. I prefer to mix the components, due to this the efficiency increases many times over.

Mask made of white clay and lemon juice.

I already wrote about white clay once, but I didn’t mention lemon there. And now his time has come :)

For the mask you will need:

  1. 5 teaspoons of white clay.
  2. Strongly brewed black tea.
  3. Lemon juice

In a container convenient for you, mix the ingredients so that you get a paste. Add lemon juice and tea in equal quantities. You can do it without tea, but in my opinion it’s more effective.

If you overdo it with tea and juice, the mixture may be too liquid, and applying it to your face will be problematic.

Apply 2-3 times a week, keep on face for 15 minutes and rinse with warm water. feel after rinsing, use your favorite moisturizer. But, as a rule, thanks to lemon, dry skin can be avoided.

Thanks to clay, this mask cleanses pores and improves complexion; by the way, it is thanks to black tea that the skin becomes softer and more elastic. Lemon additionally moisturizes and nourishes the skin with microelements.

properties that can be described, but for me there are three main goals that I pursue when using such a mask.

  • Cleanses pores, thereby preventing acne.
  • Accelerates skin regeneration to heal scars.
  • Fighting stains.

It can also be noted that the skin becomes more elastic, velvety, and the color is evened out. In a word, a wonderful mask .

Remember, when your face is covered with acne, the mask is no longer a help, in this case it is necessary to kill the bacteria, for example, with these means: link1, link2.

Above is the mask I use to acne blemishes There are many other types of masks, which we will discuss below.

1. Honey and lemon.

Required:

  • 5 spoons of honey.
  • 3-5 spoons of lemon juice

Heat 5 teaspoons of honey in a water bath and mix it all with lemon juice. You need to keep it on your face for 10-15 minutes.

This mask brightens the complexion and gives the skin freshness.

2. Rejuvenating mask:

  • Egg yolk.
  • Olive oil.
  • Lemon juice.

Mix all components in a bowl and apply for 20 minutes. Frequency of use as needed. As a rule, 3-4 times a week.

The components of the mask moisturize the skin, nourish it with microelements, give it elasticity, and tighten wrinkles.

Option for using lemon for acne

Everyone knows perfectly well that lemon is rich in vitamins, so why doesn’t anyone eat this wonderful fruit?

For example , bacteria are a key cause of acne as they create inflammation. Many have noticed that during a cold, subcutaneous pimples appear, this is due to a weakened immune system.

This means our task is to help the body maintain immunity. Thanks to vitamin C, your immune system will work like clockwork, any viruses and bacteria will die without even having time to do anything dirty :) This is of course ideal , in practice, some viruses will survive and pimples will appear, but! they will be small, and small ones are much easier to treat, you yourself know this very well.

This is only part of the properties of lemon. You can also note improved digestion and a powerful antioxidant effect.

How to take lemon?

A couple of slices a day will be more than enough. You can put it in tea, for example. It is especially important to eat in the autumn-spring period, because it is at this moment that the immune system is weakened.

Nothing fancy here, all the rules are elementary.

You can simply mix juice and sour cream in equal parts, apply this product for 20 minutes, and then wash it off.

To cleanse pores and get rid of inflammation, you can prepare a product based on juice and bread or brewer's yeast. Add 3 tablespoons of warm milk and dry yeast to the container, adding a spoonful of squeezed juice. The finished mass is applied to the face and washed after 15 minutes.

Fruit juice

Lemon juice for acne is used as a single remedy. You can see for yourself whether lemon helps against blackheads by trying a simple method - wiping your face with juice. First, the skin should be cleansed and then fresh juice should be applied, which is left on the face for a quarter of an hour. This product is used exclusively for oily skin, as it has a strong drying property. If there are small inflamed pimples on the face, in addition to comedones, a burning sensation may appear.
