Some of us have already encountered such a problem as the appearance of watery white or red pimples on the body. There may be several reasons for such rashes:
- disturbance of metabolic processes in the body,
- diathesis,
- allergy,
- chickenpox.
In order to start fighting them in a timely manner, you must consult a doctor for a diagnosis and further detailed examination. Modern diagnostic procedures will reveal the nature of these acne, based on which, you will be prescribed appropriate treatment.
Reasons for appearance
If you have diathesis? As a rule, it is caused by allergies, intolerance to some foods or substances. If we are talking about diathesis, then you can get rid of watery pimples in just a few days with the help of one drug (which you can pick up at an appointment with a dermatologist), or you will just have to wait a couple of days until they go away on their own. But to prevent this from happening again, you will have to change your diet and lifestyle. Diathesis mainly affects children.
If your metabolic processes are disrupted? In this case, if watery rashes appear on your body as a result of metabolic disorders, then a competent dermatologist, in combination with the ointment, will prescribe you medications that normalize digestive processes. As a result of this treatment, after one, maximum two weeks, your pimples will disappear without a trace.
The intensity of the rash in any of the above cases will depend not only on the irritant itself that caused its appearance, but also on the individual sensitivity and general condition of your body. For example, one person will not react at all to a particular irritant, while for another it may become intolerable, causing dermatitis manifestations such as rashes in the form of watery blisters of various diameters, itching and redness. Externally, these inflammations may resemble hives.
If you are having an allergic reaction? Most often, watery rashes appear against the background of an allergic reaction to an allergen. In this case, external medications will be of little use, since they do not affect the cause of acne. In mild cases, it is a banal allergic reaction, for example to citrus fruits. Of course, it causes a lot of inconvenience, anxiety, suspiciousness and raises doubts, but after a few days it goes away on its own without any treatment. But it would be best to consult with a specialist, because recently a disease such as molluscum contagiosum . These are watery pimples of small diameter, with a black dot inside, resembling a wen. This disease can spread throughout the body, increasing the number of rashes that need to be cauterized, for example, with iodine. But, if you consult a doctor, you will be prescribed a more complete comprehensive treatment.
If you have chickenpox? If you have chickenpox, then there may be a lot of such pimples all over your body, even on your head. These blackheads itch and burst on their own. To make an accurate diagnosis, I recommend that you consult a doctor immediately, since in adulthood chickenpox resolves with complications: fever, secondary infection. If you look at the photo below, then number 1 is the initial stage of chickenpox, and number 2 is what chickenpox looks like at the final stage. Chickenpox goes away on its own and does not require treatment, but chicken pox (pimples) are smeared with brilliant green to prevent re-infection.
Reaction to the sun
Ultraviolet radiation can cause hypersensitivity in humans. Such processes are accompanied by rashes in the form of papules, vesicles, accompanied by the separation of serous exudate, thickening, roughness of the skin, pigmentation disturbances, and the appearance of grooves are observed.
In healthy people, as a rule, this is rare, mainly occurring in:
- infants;
- children with weakened immune systems;
- people with too light skin (Celtic type);
- old people;
- persons with pathologies of the liver, kidneys, as well as endocrine and immune systems.
There may be other types of immunopathological reactions, phototraumatic and phototoxic. In the first case, it is sunburn. Probably everyone is familiar with how hot and sore the skin is after spending an excessive amount of time on the beach.
Phototoxic burn also occurs as a result of exposure to sunlight. However, here the cause is drugs, foods or other substances that enter the body and produce a photosensitizing effect.
More often, people whose skin is too white or pale are susceptible to allergies. Traumatic effects occur very often.
In addition, photosensitizing substances (PS) often aggravate the situation even in people with normal skin type that is resistant to ultraviolet rays.
Many drugs contain VW in their composition, for example:
- group of tetracyclines (antibiotics);
- neuroleptics;
- sulfonamides;
- antifungals, for example, griseofulfin and some others;
- ethacridine lactate;
- oral contraceptives;
- tar.
Since the main purpose of these drugs is different, their photosensitizing effect is considered as a side effect. Another cause of photodermatosis can be contact with the skin of the juice of plants containing PV.

Sunburn may occur after direct contact with them. These plants include angelica officinalis, angelica silica and several species of hogweed.
Additional folk remedies
Additional folk remedies in the treatment of this disease include washing or lotions made from a special decoction of chamomile flowers and clover leaves, which will need to be wiped on the skin about three times a day. You can also use a water tincture of calendula (2 tablespoons of flowers in half a glass of water). Or make your own DIY calendula toner for acne. During treatment, it is advisable to refrain from drinking alcoholic beverages and not to use alcohol-based medications. All this can lead to a decrease in vascular tone, which will affect the intensity of recovery. Like other rashes, watery pimples need to be protected from sunlight by wearing covered clothing or applying sunscreen to the face and body.
How to eliminate acne caused by tap water
Of course, for acne treatment to be effective in this case, it is necessary to first eliminate the factor that led to its appearance. Today, cosmetology companies produce a variety of products, such as special cleansing milk, lotions and tonics, which allows you to replace the washing procedure with other skin cleansing options. Using the right products can effectively remove impurities from the surface of the skin, while cleansing the pores. With the right selection of such cosmetics, you can quickly get rid of acne due to bad water, simply by changing the option of cleansing your skin.
However, this method of washing without water is not suitable for all people. Some women cannot do without a standard water procedure using gels and foams, because otherwise they do not feel their skin clean and experience discomfort. In such a situation, it is recommended to use purified water for washing, passed through special filters or settled. Chlorine, like various salts, in this case will be present in the water in much lower concentrations, which will make it safer for the skin.
Many people try to use boiled water for washing, considering it the safest. Of course, it will be much softer than ordinary tap water, it will not contain salts and chlorine, as well as pathogenic microorganisms, since all of them will be destroyed during the boiling process. But washing with such water will not bring any benefit to the skin, since along with the harmful substances in the water, boiling will destroy all the useful ones.
The best option for water procedures is considered to be spring and well water, as well as water collected from natural mineral springs. Of course, finding these options in a city is not at all easy. Therefore, in urban conditions, it is recommended to use natural mineral water for washing, which is classified as table water and does not contain gas. Medicinal water should not be used for washing, as it contains a large amount of salts that can worsen the situation.
As a rule, if acne appears due to bad water, then it is enough to eliminate the provoking factor by replacing tap water with filtered or mineral water so that the problem gradually disappears. But to speed up getting a positive result in the presence of a large number of pimples, it is recommended to use decoctions of medicinal herbs that have an anti-inflammatory effect for washing and wiping the face, as well as applying lotions and compresses. Such herbs include medicinal chamomile, calendula flowers, sage, celandine, and thyme. Rubbing the skin daily after washing with ice cubes prepared from such decoctions also has an excellent effect.
How to treat?
There is no one size fits all method on how to actually cure them. Without knowing the reasons for their appearance, it is difficult to influence them. These are not the typical acne that we are used to; here, baziron based on benzoyl peroxide and zinerit based on the antibiotic will be useless.
If you still doubt how to treat acne, the most common reason is allergies. Therefore, if you are sure that you ate something wrong, I recommend:
- lacto-filtrum, it will help remove all toxic substances from the body,
- antiallergic drugs, such as Zyrtec, Suprastin, etc.
- You can use zinc ointment externally, it will dry out the inflammation.
Treatment and prevention of rashes
If a small red rash appears on your body while on vacation at sea, you should not immediately panic. First you need to try to find out the reasons for this phenomenon.
Such problems often arise among those tourists who do not know how to choose the right time to visit the beach. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., the intensity of ultraviolet radiation increases sharply, which causes allergies and other phototraumatic effects.
People with pale, sensitive skin need to be especially careful at this time, as their bodies do not produce enough melanin pigment, which helps neutralize the sun's rays.
They need to use tanning products. The protective cream cools the skin and protects it from sun rays, significantly weakening their influence.
The sea contains a lot of mineral salts, so it produces a drying effect. People with oily skin types experience a significant improvement in the condition of their skin after bathing.
But if your skin is already dry, it becomes more sensitive to everything and can easily become inflamed when exposed to very salty water.
As a rule, an allergic reaction develops, which causes the appearance of dermatitis, accompanied by severe itching.
To avoid this, it is advisable for people with sensitive skin to lubricate their body with a rich cream before each dive into water. After swimming, you should immediately dry yourself with a dry towel or take a shower with fresh water.

The measures taken will help avoid drying out the skin, since it is especially vulnerable on the beach - after all, it is affected by three elements at once: the sun, water and wind. The wind dries the skin, leaving a film of mineral salts on it after the water evaporates. This increases the burning effect of sunlight and causes immunopathological reactions.

Sea salt for acne. Folk recipes.
Recipe No. 1. Washing with sea salt for oily skin.
If your skin is oily and prone to minor (in size) pimples and rashes, this recipe will suit you more than others. Its essence lies in periodically washing with a soapy saline solution.
To do this, pour 1 tablespoon of sea salt with 2-3 tablespoons of soapy water. It is better to use baby soap. After the salt is completely wet, the resulting mass is carefully applied to the face.
Considering that salt granules can injure the skin, movements should be smooth and careful. The saline solution acts quickly, so after 2 minutes of massaging, the salt is washed off the face with water at room temperature. The procedure is repeated 2-3 times a week.
Recipe No. 2. Sea salt for acne for oily and combination skin.
This salt exposure recipe is a little gentler than the previous one, as it involves complete dissolution of the salt before use.
To do this, pour 2-3 tablespoons of sea salt for acne into a glass of hot water. The solution is stirred until the salt dissolves. The cooled (perhaps slightly warm) solution is ready for use. Use a cotton pad soaked generously in the solution to rub your face several times, avoiding the skin area around the eyes.
If there are large acne formations, apply a cotton pad to problem areas of the skin for 3-5 minutes. For severe acne, you can use a gauze pad or towel, which is also soaked in a saline solution and applied to the face for 3-5 minutes.
Finally, wash your face with warm water and apply a light cream to the skin. Rubbing/compresses are performed as needed 3-4 times a week.
Recipe No. 3. Sea salt wash for combination/normal skin.
Yes, and normal skin is sometimes prone to acne! To get rid of them using sea salt, you need a solution of very weak concentration so as not to dry out the skin.
For such skin, a solution is suitable when half a teaspoon of salt is diluted in 1 glass of warm water. Similar to the above recipe, wipe the skin with a cotton pad soaked in a warm solution. Finally, rinse the face with cool water and apply a light moisturizer to the skin.
Recipe No. 4. Baths with sea salt.
A bath with sea salt is an excellent solution for those whose acne affects not only the face, but also the body. For one bath, 400-500 grams of salt is enough.
Salt is dissolved in warm water 5 minutes before taking a bath. If desired, you can add a few drops of your favorite essential oil to the water.
The bath is taken for 15-20 minutes, and at the end the body is thoroughly kneaded and massaged so that the salt contained in the water is better absorbed into the skin. Finish the procedure by lightly rinsing the body in the shower with warm water.
You can choose the frequency of salt baths yourself, and depending on the need, it can range from 1 to 4 times a week.

Hard or soft?
In different areas of the Voronezh region, water hardness is different. For example, saline water in the southern regions of the region is harder compared to Voronezh: Rossoshansky, Talovsky, Pavlovsky, Bogucharsky. It has higher mineralization, which makes it more difficult to clean.
Khachik Juvelikyan noted that Voronezh water has an average degree of hardness, not exceeding 6 degrees. Thus, water hardness in the Central region is 5.1 degrees, in Sovetsky and Zheleznodorozhny - 5 degrees, in Levoberezhny - 4.9 degrees, Kominternovsky - 4.8 degrees, in the village of Tenisty - 1.5 degrees.
– High hardness is more typical for groundwater rather than surface water. Those who lived at the Venevitinovo base know that soap suds are poorly formed when washing hands and there is a lot of scale in the kettle, although ten-year laboratory tests of drinking water claim that the water is good in all respects, with the exception of exceeding permissible standards for fluorine ( 2.4–2.6 mg/l with a MPC of 1.5) and boron (3.58 with a MPC of 0.5 mg/l), noted Khachik Juvelikyan.
By the way, it is generally accepted that boiling will “soften” water. But as a result of boiling, the water only gets rid of the temporary hardness of calcium, magnesium ions and the bicarbonate anion HCO3, which precipitates into a chalk sediment. Salts of constant hardness remain in water even after boiling.
Inflammation, acne on the face - why do they appear? My observations
Hello girls.
It’s time to share my opinion on such a “thorny” topic as facial troubles. These include acne, blackheads and all kinds of inflammation. There are many letters, whoever has the strength - please) I brought my skin to a normal state for a long time, probably two years, and during this period I made conclusions regarding the causes of acne on the face. I am not a cosmetologist or a doctor, I don’t know everything about the skin, I hope for understanding in my reasoning).
The first postulate that comes to my mind on this topic is: The face is a reflection of the overall health of the body.
That is, acne can only be a manifestation of some kind of disorder in the body. If we remove the cause of the disorder, the acne will go away on its own.
For example, if there are diseases of the internal organs, then all sorts of creams, ointments, poultices can only relieve the manifestation a little or simply not lead to a deplorable state.
In order not to be unfounded - by personal example. As soon as there is a problem with the intestines, the forehead immediately rashes. If you have the same problem, but it does not go away, examine your stomach, intestines, and liver. Also, a couple of years ago I had acne for a long time on the lower part of my face, i.e. on the chin. Some passed, peeled off, others appeared. It could have been hidden with foundation, but I didn’t really know how to use it, so it looked even worse. Once I was lucky enough to talk with a cosmetologist, and she, looking at my beauty, immediately blurted out - there’s something wrong with your hormones, go see a women’s doctor. In general, the doctor confirmed everything. After treatment, the “beauty” began to gradually fade; now it only happens during periods of “happiness once a month” in this area. On the topic “which part of the face is a reflection of which organ” there is a lot of information on the Internet, with pictures and everything is written out. You can at least look through these sources to understand a little. The second point is poor nutrition.
Of course, everyone experiences force majeure and has to eat something on the go, some buns, sandwiches, and wash it all down with soda. If it’s a couple of days of travel, then it’s okay. Well, if you eat fast food often, a lot of sweets, fatty, smoked foods, drink little water, a lot of coffee, all kinds of snacks - all this has a very, very strong effect on the skin and inflammation may appear on a regular basis. If I eat a chocolate bar or a cookie glazed with condensed milk, after a couple of hours I’ll get a “horn” on my forehead and that’s it. This is especially true for crackers. They are a pimple heaven. In general, if someone struggles with acne, buys expensive creams, but at the same time eats anything - all the work goes down the drain. So eat good food - vegetables, fruits, avoid fried foods, eat sweets in moderation (how could you live without such joys), drink enough clean, good water - and your skin condition will be better.
The third point is water.
And here we are not talking about water for drinking, but about the water with which we wash ourselves.
The condition of the skin greatly depends on this. I happened to live in an industrial city, where tap water was only suitable for washing wheels - my skin and hair suffered greatly. Here, of course, you cannot boil water for yourself to wash, and you cannot correct the situation on your own, as, for example, with nutrition. I just want to convey the idea that perhaps bad water in your locality may be the cause/one of the reasons for your skin problems or “unmanageable” hair. So a new shampoo is unlikely to help here, nor will another alcohol-containing lotion. Perhaps these are the three main points that stood out to me from all the possible ones. Most likely, these were the reasons for my problems) Now my skin is in good condition, rashes rarely occur. My women’s health has improved, I try to eat well, eat less snacks and the like. The water problem was solved by changing my place of residence. In the new place, of course, the water is not ideal, but it is better.
I understand that I did not discover America, but perhaps my observations will be useful to someone.
