Effect of the drug
Fundizol is an antimycotic and antibacterial drug with complex action. Its complex composition ensures softening and removal of parts of the nail plate affected by fungal infection, as well as the infected surface layer of the epidermis.
Additionally, the cream provides the following effects:
- softening the skin of the feet;
- healing of cracks in the skin;
- preventing excessive foot sweating by regulating the functioning of the sweat glands;
- eliminating unpleasant foot odor;
- drying out skin rashes;
- relieving swelling, itching, pain.
Fundizol cream dosage and method of application
Apply the cream to the skin of your feet and nails 2-3 times a day.
The cream is applied in a thick layer to the affected areas of the nails and left for 4-6 hours under compress paper, secured with an adhesive plaster. APPLICATION METHOD
For fungal infections of the nails : 1. 2-3 times a day, Fundizol cream is applied in a thin layer to the skin of the feet (hands), interdigital spaces, and healthy nail plates. At the same time, healthy nails become elastic, turn pink and acquire shine. The skin softens, peeling stops, cracks heal, sweating and unpleasant foot odor decrease.
2. In addition, 2 times a day, the cream is applied in a thick layer to the feet damaged by the fungus (on the nail and under the nail), covered with compress paper and fixed with an adhesive plaster for 4-6 hours (up to 8 hours). After 3-4 days, the damaged part of the nail plate begins to soften and peel off (the peeling part must be carefully cut off and filed with a file without injuring the skin).
After complete removal of the affected part of the nail (on average 4-8 weeks), the use of applications can be stopped, continuing daily treatment of nails and adjacent skin with Fundizol until the nail grows completely (1-2 times a day). The part of the affected nail that has not peeled off within a month should not be forcibly removed. This is a healthy area of the nail. If, after cutting off the affected part of the nail plate, the skin of the nail bed looks uneven (lumpy, covered with fibrous formations), this indicates that it is infected with a fungus.
Continue treating the nail bed with Fundizol twice until it is cleansed (the affected skin becomes keratinized and exfoliates).
Throw away old socks, slippers and gloves after 3-4 weeks from the start of using Fundizol!!! They are more contaminated with fungal spores. We recommend that the inside of shoes be treated weekly with antiseptic solutions; bed linen and towels should be boiled regularly.
3. Subsequently, to prevent fungal infection (from shoes, gloves, underwear, etc.), we recommend preventive treatment of nails with Fundizol 1-2 times a week.
For fungal infections of the skin, apply the cream in sufficient quantities (until absorption stops) 2-3 times a day to the skin affected by the fungus. The effect appears after 3-4 days. However, to achieve lasting results, it is recommended to use the cream for at least 3 weeks. Don't forget to change your shoes, socks, slippers, gloves, towels, underwear and bed linen after eliminating the fungal infection!
Ingrown nail In many cases, the ingrowth of the nail plate into the skin is caused by compaction and thickening (hyperkeratosis) of the nail plate due to its fungal infection.
At the same time, the method of using Fundizol coincides with the method of use for fungal infections of the nails:
1. Apply cream to the skin of your feet and healthy nails twice a day.
2. Apply the cream in a thick layer to the modified nails, cover with compress paper and fix with adhesive tape for 4-6 hours, 2 times a day. After 3-4 days, the nail softens and the possibility of its gradual (from 1 to 2 months) painless cutting (filing) becomes possible. It is possible to cut only the affected part of the nail. A healthy nail does not peel off from the nail bed.
3. Replace socks, stockings, slippers and treat growing nails with Fundizol once a day until they grow completely. This treatment makes the growing nail softer and more elastic, which prevents it from growing in and damaging the skin.
To prevent fungal infection when visiting beaches, swimming pools, saunas, etc., treat your feet, the spaces between your toes, and areas of skin that have been in contact with surfaces with cream.

The drug should be used in the treatment of skin or nail fungus according to the following algorithm:
- Wash affected areas. To do this, it is better to use a mild neutral detergent. After water procedures, drying is necessary.
- If you need to treat your nails, you should remove the decorative coating from them. After this, the remaining nail polish remover must be washed off.
- The cream should be applied to the affected nail plates and skin areas in a thick layer, covered with compress paper and secured with a band-aid. This compress must be kept for 4-6 hours.
- After applying the cream, you should wash your hands thoroughly.
It is necessary to treat infected areas in this way twice a day. The infected nail plate begins to soften and peel off during the first week of using the cream. As the nail grows and peels off, it needs to be trimmed. Instead of scissors, you can use a nail file.
Complete removal of the affected nail or part of it takes on average 1-2 months. If it took less than a month to remove the nail, then treatment should be continued for at least 21 more days.
When the infected nail or part of it is removed, you can dispense with compresses. You should continue to apply the cream to the nail plates and skin, but in a thin layer and without compress paper.
At the end of the therapeutic course, you need to get rid of things that may be infected with fungal spores. This applies to slippers, gloves, and hosiery. Even their disinfection does not provide a 100% guarantee of the death of all spores.
Preventive treatment of skin and nails should be carried out until healthy nail plates grow completely.
When treating a fungal infection of the skin or nails, not only infected areas, but also healthy areas should be treated with cream. This must be done even if there are no signs of infection. This approach allows you to protect healthy skin and nails from the spread of the pathogen. The compress should not be applied to healthy areas.
If you want to soften keratinized skin on your hands or feet, you need to apply the cream in a thin layer and lightly rub it in with massaging movements.
